The method's main goal is to teach the P.E.T. skill set in a way that makes it understandable and relevant to a specific audience. The training is practical, flexible, and requires no reading or writing skills.
I strive to make the content relatable to the specific audience, exciting, and fun by using an interactive teaching style that promotes an atmosphere of attention and participation. Participants still receive training in all the skills, and the knowledge as outlined in Dr Gordon's Parent Effectiveness Training but via an active method that requires no reading or writing.
